Combine the season of giving with Rotary’s year-long mission of service above self, and good things happen.

On November 20th, President-Elect Hector Espana participated with a delegation of Rotarians to several Lakeside clinics and hospitals to distribute 60 boxes of medicine.

The medication, for treatment of hypertension, antibiotics and painkillers, was procured by Guadalajara Rotarians Dr. María Teresa Zambrano and Dr. Juan José Rodriguez Bravo from a lab that contributed it with the stipulation that it go directly to clinics to treat local patients free of charge.

A caravan of Rotarians went from the Chapala Municipal Clinic to the Red Cross to the Jocotepec Community Hospital, where grateful caregivers received the donated medicine.

Chapala Sunrise Rotary thanks everyone involved in making the project happen.
